How our small business relies on the Postal Service

I have been nervously watching the Postal Service drama unfold over the last weeks. I’d like to share how how important the Postal Service is to a small business like us.

Simply put the Postal Service rocks.

99.9% of our domestic shipments are done with their first class package service. Officially it’s 3-5 days but typically I see deliveries to the major metro areas in less than 3 days all for less than $5/ with a tracking number.

If I had to use UPS or Fedex, I wouldn’t be able to offer free shipping on orders over $75.

So thank you to everyone who has been putting pressure on their representatives to protect the Postal Service.

And here’s to hoping we will have a more sane set of leaders starting in November
